John C. Hoeffner, Sr., Life Long resident of Yaphank, Age 92. Loving husband of the late Gloria. Devoted Father of John(Cathy) Hoeffner, Wayne (Joanne) Hoeffner, and the late Ronald Hoeffner. Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Kristen Accardi, John C. Hoeffner III, Jennifer Hoeffner, and the late Jake M. Hoeffner, and 4 great grandchildren. John was a 77 year member of the Yaphank Fire Department and also an Honorary Chief of the Department. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 'Jake M. Hoeffner Scholarship Fund' Checks made payable to the 'Jake M. Hoeffner Scholarship Fund' may be mailed to 12 Landsberger Street, Yaphank, NY 11980, or dropped off at the Yaphank Fire Department Firehouse. Family to receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-430pm and 7-9:30pm Mangano Funeral Home of Middle Island, Inc. 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island. Firematic Services Sunday 7:30pm. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00am Mary Immaculate R.C.C. - Bellport, NY burial to follow Yahpank Cemetery- Yaphank, NY
