John James Carey

John passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 18th at the age of 95. John was a long time resident of Jamesport and more recently the Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing in Center Moriches. He had a joy of playing the piano and was very devoted to his faith. John was pre-deceased by his parents Robert F. and Marguerite (McGoey) Carey and his brothers Robert and Walter, and sisters Marguerite (Sis) Hurley, Dorothy, and Catherine (Babe) Bennett. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral mass for John will be on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. Interment to follow mass in St. John's Cemetery Riverhead. Friends and family attending are requested to meet at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home at 8:30 am on Monday, April 25th.
