John F. Mastrorocco

John F. Mastrorocco, a beloved father, grandfather, son and distinguished Legal Manager at Friedman Law Associates, passed away on February 3, 2024, in Stony Brook, NY. Born on August 17, 1961, to doting parents Leonard and Catherine Mastrorocco in New York, NY, John leaves behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism.

John's career at Friedman Law Associates spanned many successful years. Known for his exceptional legal expertise and strong work ethic, made significant contributions to the firm. Colleagues remember him as a trusted advisor and a reliable team player who always went above and beyond to provide exceptional service to his clients.  

Outside of his professional life, John was a cherished family man. He was the loving brother of James and Brian and the proud father of Luke. John's devotion to his family was unwavering, and he found great joy in their company. In addition to his immediate family members, John is survived by Ashley (John) Flynn and Ava (Anthony Albro) Mastrorocco, his beloved daughters. His grandchildren Leonardo and Caden Flynn brought immense happiness into his life. John deeply treasured every moment spent with his family.  He is predeceased by his brothers, James and Brian Mastrorocco, and son Luke Mastrorocco. John is also survived by his loving ex-spouse and mother of his children, Anne C. Hurley.

Friends and colleagues alike will remember John for his warm personality, sense of humor, and unwavering integrity. Whether it was providing guidance or offering a kind word of encouragement, he could always be counted on to lend support when needed. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation services in memory of John will be held at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home located at 406 E Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. The first visitation will take place on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Prayer Service will be held during the latter visitation at 8:00 PM.
