John Posa

John Posa, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and member of his community, passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on February 15, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Saverio and Frances Posa. John lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and a strong work ethic.

As a self-employed business owner at a collision shop in North Bellmore, NY, John earned a reputation for his meticulous craft and unwavering commitment to customer service. His dedication not only helped restore vehicles but also fostered long-lasting relationships within the community.

John proudly served his country as a veteran of the Army, a commitment that underscored his sense of duty and service to others. He carried the values instilled in him during his military service throughout his life, guiding him in both his professional endeavors and personal relationships.

Beyond his career, John will be remembered for his loving and caring nature. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie Posa, alongside his two daughters, Nancy and her husband Sean Greeley, and Jeanine and her husband Joseph Brusca. John also took great joy in being a grandparent to his grandchildren: Gianna, Emma, Olivia, Katelyn, and James. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he devoted himself wholeheartedly to nurturing those relationships.

John was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Frances Anderson. The legacy of love and compassion that he cultivated will continue to resonate through the lives he touched and the memories he created.
