Joseph Previti, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Joseph was born on December 19, 1931, in New York City to Vincent and Angelina Previti. Joseph had a rich and fulfilling life as a self-employed real estate businessman. With his hard work and dedication, he built a successful career in the industry.
Joseph is predeceased by his beloved spouse, Anita Previti, to whom he was deeply devoted throughout their years together. He will be forever remembered as a dedicated father to Angela (Ivan) Cerina, Michael Previti, Joann (Peter) Ball, Lori (Dominick) Zulferino, and as a cherished grandfather to Joseph (Melissa) Cerina, John Cerina, Anthony (Christina) Zulferino, Julianna Ball, and Tommy Ball. The joy of becoming a great-grandfather brought immense happiness into Joseph's life. Hunter Cerina, Harlie Cerina, Haylee Cerina, and Tessa Zulferino will forever carry their memories of their loving great-grandfather in their hearts.
Joseph's life will be celebrated through various events open to family members and friends who wish to pay their respects. The visitation services will take place on October 16, 2023, at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. The first visitation event will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and the second visitation event will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
A Mass in honor of Joseph's life will be held on October 17, 2023, at Saint Matthew Church located at 35 North Service Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746. The Mass will commence at 10:45 AM. Following the Mass, Joseph will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park at 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. The entombment will begin at 12:15 PM.
In addition to his immediate family, Joseph is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends who have been touched by his kindness and generosity.
As we bid farewell to Joseph Previti, let us remember his legacy of love, compassion, and strength. He will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of light and inspiration. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
