Joyce Lehmann, a beloved figure known for her warmth and loving nature, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on August 4, 1942, in the Bronx, New York, Joyce lived a vibrant life filled with meaningful connections and cherished moments with her family.
A dedicated professional, Joyce served as an A.C.L.D. in Bay Shore, NY, where she made a significant impact in her field. She was not only a diligent employee but also a mentor and friend to many, embodying a spirit of kindness and support that touched all who knew her.
Joyce was a proud holder of a Master's degree, reflecting her commitment to education and personal growth. However, her greatest joy came from her role as a mother and grandmother. She had an unmatched ability to create a welcoming environment, ensuring her home was always filled with love and laughter. Her grandchildren adored her, affectionately calling her "Nana." She cherished the time spent with them, providing guidance and nurturing their development with her loving spirit.
Joyce is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Lehmann; her son, Matthew, and his wife Christine; her daughter, Karyn Lehmann; and her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, and Erick. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and she will be deeply missed by them.
To honor Joyce's life and legacy, memorial services will be held on February 6, 2025, at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, with visiting hours from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Mass will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in West Islip, NY, on February 7, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM.
Joyce Lehmann leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to family and community. She will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
