Born on July 8, 1956, in Bay Shore, NY, Julie lived a life that was a reflection of her beautiful heart. She was cherished as the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Hewes, and her spirit had a profound impact on many who were fortunate to have known her.
Julieanne was a woman who loved deeply and cared for others. Julieanne also loved her Catholic Faith. Often when receiving Holy Communion brought to her home she’d say “Nice” with a happy voice. She lived a quiet life, yet she was loved by many for her warmth and kindness. Her passions, which included a deep love for the Mets and a fondness for wrestling, particularly watching WWE, brought her joy and happiness. These interests were not just mere hobbies; they were a testament to her vibrant spirit, one that created connections with friends and family who shared in her enthusiasm for the games and shows that she loved.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Fr. Robert Hewes, former Pastor of Saint Matther R.C.C. The bond between them was strong and supportive, a reminder of the important role family plays in our lives.
