Kenneth J. Reilly Sr. of Cape Coral, FL went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 24, 2013. He was born March 25, 1943. Ken was pre-deceased by his son Daniel and his parents John & Marie Reilly. Ken retired from the NYC Transit Authority as a Deputy Superintendent. He also had an electrical contracting business in NY as well as FL. Ken loved working for the Lord. He & his wife Bernadette were volunteer caretakers at Canaan Land Christian Retreat in Lake Toxaway, NC which provides a respite for full-time Christian ministry workers. They were there from July 1999 to November 2000. When Hurricane Katrina devastated the New Orleans area, they joined Operation Blessing Disaster Relief Services & assisted there for 2 years. They continued to be on call to be deployed to other disaster areas until Ken’s health issues prevented that. He will be greatly missed by his wife, his children, step-children, 11 grandchildren and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: New Life Orphanages International PO Box 2754 Haines City, FL 33845 Or Operation Blessing Disaster Relief Services 977 Centerville Turnpike Virginia Beach, VA 23463
