Throughout his life, Kirk embodied the spirit of kindness and care, traits that made him not only a trusted dentist but also a cherished friend and mentor to many. His commitment to oral health and the well-being of his patients resonated deeply within the Uniondale community. He is remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of working with him or sitting in his chair.
Kirk had a zest for life that extended beyond his dental practice. A true foodie at heart, he had a particular fondness for pizza, often sharing his culinary adventures and recommendations with friends and family. His involvement with Kappa Alpha Psi Inc. was a testament to his lifelong dedication to brotherhood and service.
As a passionate supporter of college football, Kirk was an avid follower of teams from Ohio State, Stony Brook University, and the University of Pittsburgh. He would often engage in spirited discussions about game strategies and team performances, drawing in friends and family with his infectious enthusiasm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barber A. Soodoo (Nee: Charles), and their three children, Simone A. Soodoo, Brandon T. Soodoo, and Gabrielle K. Soodoo. Additionally, Kirk leaves behind his siblings: Paul, Debra, George, Audrey, and Lisa, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A visitation will be held on October 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Kirk are invited to come together in remembrance of a remarkable man who made a lasting impact in both his profession and his community.
