Lawrence Garite

Lawrence Garite, a cherished member of the community, has passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 44. Born on August 25, 1978, Lawrence's life was filled with passion and dedication.

Lawrence led a fulfilling career in the construction industry as a carpenter. Lawrence took great pride in his work and approached each project with enthusiasm and precision.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lawrence had a warm heart and genuine care for those around him. He touched the lives of many through his kind nature and generous spirit. 

Family and friends meant the world to Lawrence. Lawrence spent his final days surrounded by the warmth of his closest friends Scott and Joe, and many others. Though their hearts are heavy with sorrow at Lawrence's departure, his cousin Christopher and his wife Corinne, and his cousin Michael were all with him until the end. Lawrence is predeceased by his father Thomas, his mother Marion, and sister Adrianna.

Lawrence's presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The legacy he leaves behind is one of hard work, compassion, and love for others.

To honor and celebrate Lawrence's life, a Memorial Service will be held on August 27, 2023. The service will take place at the Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. Friends, family, and loved ones are welcome to attend this gathering to pay their respects from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.  There will be a Memorial Mass on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 10:15 AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park.

Lawrence will always remain in our hearts as we remember him for his unwavering dedication to his craft and his ability to bring joy into the lives of those he encountered. May he find eternal peace as he rests in the embrace of our memories forevermore.
