Lester G. Homan

Lester G. Homan, age 90, of Calverton, NY passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at New York State University Hospital in Stony Brook. He was born on July 5, 1925 in Patchogue, NY to Raymond Homan and Mabel Holmes. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corpsduring WWII. He worked for NYNEX in Patchogue, NY as an engineer. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie 'Peggy' K. Homan (nee: O'Shea) and his dear brother Ray Homan. A memorial visitation for Lester will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, 406 East Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. Interment of cremated remains with military honors and memorial service to take place on Friday, June 24, 2016, 11:00 am, at Calverton National Cemetery. Family and friends attending the interment at the cemetery are kindly requested to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Friday.
