Linda J. Mascatello, a treasured soul who brought love and warmth to all who knew her, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on July 9, 1966, in Queens, NY to her parents Friedel and Sofie. Linda's journey through life was characterized by her unwavering devotion to family, a remarkable career, and a passion for cooking that touched the hearts of many.

A dedicated professional, Linda served as the director of planning for Estee Lauder, where she showcased her extraordinary organizational skills and creativity. 

Married for 33 beautiful years to her beloved husband, Michael F. Mascatello, Linda shared a partnership built on love, laughter, and mutual respect. Originally from North Massapequa, the couple built a joyful life together, residing in Deer Park for the last 32 years, where they embraced the community and created a home filled with warmth and laughter. 

Linda was known not just for her culinary masterpieces, particularly her famous lasagna that was lovingly described by family members as "da bomb", but also for the comforting atmosphere she cultivated around the dinner table. 

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael, and her twin sisters, Karen Giglio and Kim DeSantos, whose bonds remain unbreakable even as they navigate this profound loss together. Additionally, her cherished cousin Laurie holds a special place in the fabric of her family's memories, as they shared moments filled with laughter and love.

The visitation to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc. in Deer Park, NY. A prayer service will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing a time for family and friends to come together in reflection and remembrance of a woman who gave so freely of herself.

Linda's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her laughter, her culinary talents, and her unwavering commitment to her family will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. In this time of sorrow, let us cherish the beautiful memories we hold and honor a life that was a true gift to us all.
