Linda Marie McCarthy, beloved mother, wife, and firefighter for the Brookhaven Labs Fire Department, has sadly passed away on July 14, 2024. She was born on January 30, 1952, to loving parents Conrad and Florence McCarthy.

Beloved wife of Joseph Gadbois, Sr. Cherished mother to Joseph Gadbois Jr., Sean Padrick Hughes and Colin Stephen Hughes (his wife Colleen). Devoted grandmother to Sean, Conor, Kyle, Kelly and Ciarra. Adored sister of Michael and James McCarthy.

A Memorial Gathering in honor of Linda will be held at Mangano Funeral Home of Middle Island, at 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, NY on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM.
