Louis Francis Barbuto

Louis Francis Barbuto, born on May 28, 1952, in Queens, NY, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, in Stony Brook, NY, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. He was 72 years old.

Throughout his life, Louis exemplified resilience and dedication. He served honorably in the Navy from 1971 to 1974, a testament to his commitment to his country and community. Following his military service, he carried that same dedication into his career as a Clerk at the Centereach Post Office, where he became a familiar and friendly face to many in the community. His work was more than just a job; it was a way for him to connect with others and provide service with a smile.

Louis's legacy lives on through his beloved family. He is survived by his son, Louis Anthony, daughter-in-law Stefanie. and daughter Christine Barbuto-Zaino.  The joy of his life were his grandchildren: Nicholas, Anthony, and Luca, who were a constant source of pride and happiness for Louis.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Louis's life will take place on September 11, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor the memorable life of a dedicated man who touched the hearts of many.
