Louis Di Maria

Louis Di Maria, known for his loving and kind nature, has passed away at the age of 94 at his home. Louis led an impressive life as a proud Marine Corp Veteran, dedicating four years to his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1947-1951. He then went on to work as a factory mechanic for Helena Rubenstein where he excelled in his career. 

Born on April 2nd, 1929 in New York City, NY to Rosario and Margaret Cordovano Di Maria, Louis was always surrounded by love and attention from his parents as well as five sons; Dennis, Ricky, Mitchell, Russell, and Jeffery. His wife Julie was by his side throughout their entire marriage.

Louis was described as a warm person who always put his family first and loved spending quality time with them. He was particularly proud of being surrounded by such loving family members throughout his journey on this earth.

Despite only having a high school education, Louis achieved great feats in his professional life thanks to his hard-working nature and dedication towards his job. He often spoke fondly of his time spent working at Helena Rubenstein where he gained valuable experiences that ultimately helped him develop into a skilled factory mechanic.

In light of Louis's passing mourners are welcome to pay their respects at the Deer Park-Mangano Family Funeral Home on June 20th. There will be two visitation events happening throughout the day where friends and family can share stories about the wonderful memories they made with Louis over time. The day will conclude with a Prayer service starting at 8:15 pm where those present will offer their final goodbyes to their beloved Louis.

While we are devastated over our loss of such an exceptional human being, we take comfort in the fact that heaven has gained another loving angel to watch over us all. Rest in Peace Louis, may your eternal journey be full of joy and boundless love.
