Maria T. Cardoso A.K.A. "Judith"

María T. Cardoso Freire (Judith) of Deer Park, NY passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77 on June 20th, 2022. Beloved wife of 53 years to her late husband José “Pepe” Cardoso. Cherished and admired mother to Adriana (Anthony) Como, Patricia Ellner Cardoso, and Leonardo Cardoso. Loving “Abuela” (grandmother) to Damian, Andrew, Michael, Lorenzo, Adriana Mia, and Sebastian. Survived by her cousins, her nieces and her nephew in Uruguay and Spain. She was described as an “angel on earth” by those who were blessed to have had her in their lives and she will be forever remembered for her infectious smile, her giving yet modest heart, her courage and strength, her beautiful soul that touched so many throughout her life, and the unconditional love and support that she showed her children and grandchildren.
