Marie T. Buquicchio

Marie T. Buquicchio, born on August 29, 1932, in Queens, NY, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, in Deer Park, NY. She lived an extraordinary life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered.

Marie is survived by her beloved children: Frank Buquicchio and his wife Lillian, Michael Buquicchio and his wife Stephanie, Ann D'Aconti and her husband Tony, Carmine Buquicchio, and Marie Buquicchio. Her legacy continues through her 13 cherished grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will always remember her warmth and kindness. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Carmine and Mary Tomeo, who provided her with a strong foundation that she carried throughout her life, and her beloved husband, Michael Buquicchio.

A visitation to celebrate Marie's life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY.  On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, a funeral mass will be held for Marie at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Hills Road, Deer Park, NY, beginning at 10:15AM. Following the mass, family and friends will proceed to Saint Charles Cemetery, where Marie will be laid to rest.  

Marie T. Buquicchio will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her dedication to nurturing those around her. May she rest in peace.
