Marion P. Napolitano, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, at the age of 83, in Mount Sinai, NY. Born on March 22, 1941, in Brooklyn, Marion was a remarkable individual who lived a life defined by, kindness, and love.

Marion dedicated a significant portion of her career as a benefit authorizer for Social Security, where she served diligently and compassionately, impacting the lives of many. Her personality was often described as silent but strong; she exuded sweetness and exhibited a steadfast commitment to her family and work. She was so proud to receive her Associate's degree later on in life, a true testament to her love of independence and lifelong learning. 

Marion is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Nicholas Napolitano. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Susan Ginley (her husband Richard), Patricia Giglio (her husband Ronald), and her son Nicholas Napolitano (his wife Stephanie). Alongside her children, Marion cherished her role as a grandmother to five grandchildren: Haley Ginley, Gianna Giglio, Vincent Ginley, Thomas Giglio, and Nicholas Napolitano, all of whom brought her immense joy.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Grace Gargiso, who provided her with an undying foundation of love and support.

The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects during the visitation services to be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY, on November 23rd  and 24th, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM each day. A Mass in Marion's honor will take place on November 25, 2024, at 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY, concluding at 12:15 PM.  Following the service, friends and family will proceed to Saint Charles Cemetery, where Marion will be laid to rest.

Marion P. Napolitano will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her devotion to family, and the positive impact she made throughout her life. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
