Mark Jude Iacono

February 14, 1960 — February 27, 2025

Patchogue, NY

Mark Jude Iacono, lovingly known as "Marco," left this world suddenly on February 27, 2025, at the age of 65 in Bay Shore, NY. Born on February 14, 1960, in New York City, Mark was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious humor and positive energy made him a compassionate family member and friend.

Mark's life was marked by his passion for uplifting others, particularly through his involvement in the A.A. community. He possessed a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives around him, always striving to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. His meticulous attention to detail extended beyond his professional life; he took great pride in his appearance, embodying a spirit of professionalism that was matched only by his warm personality.

An avid sports enthusiast, Mark was a spirited fan of the New York Mets and the New York Giants. His excitement for life was palpable, whether he was watching the Kentucky Derby, enjoying UFC fights, or simply soaking up the sun by the water. An animal lover at heart, he found joy in nature and cherished the beauty of the outdoors.

Mark graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School, where his indomitable spirit and talent became evident early on. He was not only an accomplished trumpet player but also a Golden Gloves Boxer, achievements that he held with pride. He had a remarkable ability to inspire those around him, often bringing joy and laughter into their lives.

He is survived by his beloved Kathy, and his two sons, Victor and Thomas. Mark's legacy will live on through his dear sister, JoMarie (Marty) Anderson, and his nephews, Erik and Joseph Anderson. Together, they will remember him not only as a devoted family man but also as someone who was always there for people, ready to support them in their times of need.

Mark was preceded in death by his loving parents, Frank and Rose Iacono, who laid the foundation of love and compassion he carried throughout his life.
