Martha Jordan

On Monday, April 1, 2019, the Angel of Mercy called home our loved one,
Martha Jordan in Elizabeth City, NC. Martha was born the first of three
children on August 28, 1943 in New York. She was the daughter of the
late Hugh Osborn Faison and Narcisa Benvenutti Faison. At an early age
she accepted the Lord in her life.



Martha was a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed helping others and
volunteering for charities to provide people with housing, furniture and
clothing. She was known for opening her home to feed people or provide
them with shelter. Martha made friends everywhere she went. Her honest
and fearless personality will be missed.



She was preceded in death by her father Hugh Osborn Faison, her mother
Narcisa Benvenutti Faison and her daughter Mary Ward. She leaves her
loving memories to be cherished by her husband Carlton Jordan, sister
Maria Vega, brother Ruben Osborne Faison; 4 children, Charlotte Stewart,
Sheila Buggs, Edward Putman and Carmen McCoy; 16 grandchildren, 10 great
grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
