Michael F. Davis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and veteran, passed away on May 5th, 2023 at the age of 64 in New Jersey. Michael was born on November 3rd, 1958 in Riverhead to his parents Francis and Dorothy Davis.
Michael served the United States Navy with pride and courage during his time in service. After his time serving our country was over, he settled back into civilian life with his beautiful wife Janet Aguis whom he lovingly cared for until the very end. Together they built a family that brought them lasting joy and memories.
Michael is survived by Janet Aguis (spouse), Dorothy Harrison (mother), Lisa Davis Mindler (Josh), Lauren Blackton (Daniel), DJ, Adalyn (grandchildren), and Glenn (brother). Michael's close family and friends will always remember him as a good father, brother and a wonderful friend who brought immeasurable happiness to their lives.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitations in remembrance of Michael at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island located at 640 Middle Country Rd in Middle Island on May 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00.
Additionally, a Mass service will be held on May 10th at St. Marks RC Church located at 105 Randall Road in Shoreham from 10:30 to 11:30 followed by interment services at Calverton National Cemetery located at 210 Princeton Boulevard in Calverton from noon to 12:00.
Michael has touched many lives during his time with us. He will be remembered by all as a patient listener who truly understood others and always provided comfort, support, and guidance when needed. Rest in peace Michael F. Davis; you have touched many hearts and will be truly missed by everyone whose life you have touched.
