Michael DeSanto

Michael DeSanto, born on August 5, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on October 15, 2024 at 87 years old. He lived a life marked by integrity and dedication, most notably as an engineer for Grumman in Bethpage, where his contributions to the field were both significant and valued.

Michael was known for his kind and caring personality, traits that endeared him to many throughout his life. His commitment to his work was mirrored by his devotion to his family. Michael is predeceased by his wife Annamarie DeSanto (2021). Michael is survived by his loving daughters, Debbie and her husband Sean Donnelly, and Rosemarie and her husband Andre Kahr. He was a proud grandfather to Megan, Steven, and Marissa, who brought immense joy to his life.

Visitation services will be held on October 17, 2024, at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY. The first visitation will begin from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass celebrating Michael’s life will take place on October 18, 2024, at 10:45 AM at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills, NY.
