Michael Allen Kimack Sr.

Michael Allen Kimack Sr, 81, passed away Sunday, March 17^th, 2024 at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, NY.   Michael was born May 16^th, 1942, in Passaic, New Jersey to John Kimack and Marie Kimack (nee Ducar). 

Michael graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1965, moved to Wilmington, VT in 1968, and became active in local and state politics.   He served as a Vermont State Representative from 1978-1984, then on the Vermont State Board of Education for several years.   Following his time in politics, he became involved with construction & development at the Haystack Ski Area in Wilmington, VT, and other projects in the nearby area.  In the early 1990s he left Vermont and moved to New York, eventually residing on Long Island.  After graduating from Hofstra Law School in 1995, Michael worked briefly as an attorney, but eventually returned to his passion for construction & development by working as a permit expediter in the Riverhead, NY area.
