Kinney, Monica Teresa (née Berka) passed peacefully on November 17, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 52 years George, her daughter Diana, and her son Brian as well as her sister and brother in law (Valerie and Mike Benya), two nieces (Sandra Moran and Adrienne Benya Thomas) and a nephew (Tom Shaw). Monica lived the past 40 years in Dix Hills where she was deeply involved in the Half Hollow Hills Schools. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. at Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 1701 Deer Park Avenue Deer Park, NY. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. www.manganofh.com.
