North Babylon, NY

Mose "Mario" Ricci, a beloved figure whose presence touched the lives of many, passed away on December 21, 2024. Born on July 6, 1950, in Queens, New York to his parents Francesco and Pasqua, Mario lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a profound dedication to his family.

As a devoted driver for Pepsi Co., he approached his career with the same passion and commitment that defined every aspect of his life. It was not just a job for him; it was an opportunity to connect with others, share smiles along his routes, and contribute to a company he was proud to represent.

Mario was not just known for his work ethic; he was also known for his hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He cherished his family above all else, reveling in the simple moments spent together.

Mario found exhilaration in riding his motorcycle, feeling the wind on his face as he embraced the spirit of freedom that came with it. These moments provided him with solace and happiness, and they are memories that will be forever cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Ricci, who stood by his side through all of life's adventures. Their journey together was one of mutual respect and deep affection. Mario took great pride in his children, Christina and her husband Steven Strahmann, and Michael and his wife Lauren Ricci. He cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, Morgan and Gunnar, always ready with a hug or a story that would make them laugh.

The visitation for Mario will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A prayer service will take place that evening at 8:00 PM.
