Nancy G. Jayne of Riverhead died June 13, 2019, at the Acadia Center in Riverhead. She was 89.
She was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Riverhead to Timothy and Alice Terrell Griffing.
She graduated from Brockport College and was a housewife, who was active in Riverhead Garden Club, Riverhead United Methodist Church and the Northville Beach Civiic Association.
On Dec. 9, 1950, she married Raymond L. Jayne.
She is survived by her six children: Ray, Tim, Cathy, Sally, Penny and Terry; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Phoebe.
Memorial donations may be made to Riverhead United Methodist Church.
