Nichola Barton

Nichola Barton, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, passed away on January 12, 2024, in Middle Island, NY. She was born on January 23, 1983, in Jamaica to loving parents Junior and Delores Barton.

Nichola dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate and skilled nursing assistant. Her warm smile and gentle touch brought comfort to countless patients under her care. She approached her work with utmost professionalism and was greatly admired by her colleagues and patients alike.

Outside of her career, Nichola cherished her role as a mother to Tessanie and Torrain. She took great joy in raising and nurturing her children, instilling in them the values of kindness and empathy. Tessanie and Torrain were the light of her life, and she was immensely proud of the unique individuals they were becoming.  Nichola also had a deep bond with her extended family. She leaves behind four beloved brothers and three cherished sisters who shared in many treasured memories together. Her unwavering love and support brought their family closer through the years.

As we mourn the loss of Nichola's physical presence in our lives, we find solace in knowing that her spirit will continue to live on. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her empathy for others, and her unwavering dedication to providing care and support to those in need.  May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing the profound impact she made on the lives of so many.
