Norma Rose Davies

Norma Rose Davies, age 92, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at San Simeon by the Sound in Greenport, NY. She was born on December 3, 1924 in Queens, NY to Samuel Calajoe and Ida R. Raine. Norma served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She worked as a licensed registered nurse at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, in Bellmore, NY. She is survived by her beloved son and daughter Robert Davies and Susan Hurst. Dear sister of Alen C. Raine. Cherished grandmother of 2 and great grandmother of 2. Visitation for Norma will be on Friday, May 12, 2017, 2;00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 406 East Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening. Interment with military honors will be at Calverton National Cemetery on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 am, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Monday for the interment ceremony.
