Patricia Anne Raja

Patricia Anne Raja, a cherished caretaker and proud veteran, passed away on April 6, 2025, at Stony Brook, New York. Born on October 2, 1955, in Riverhead, New York, Patricia dedicated her life to serving others, most recently as a caretaker in an adult home. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of many with her compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication.

Patricia was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving her country with honor and commitment. Her military service was a testament to her strong character and willingness to support those in need. After her time in the military, she pursued her passion for caring for others, which became evident in her professional life.

Her devotion extended beyond her work; Patricia was a beloved wife to her husband, Anjum. Together, they built a life filled with love, respect, and shared memories. Patricia's nurturing spirit was also rooted in her family, where she is preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Claire Harman.

In recognition of Patricia's remarkable life and contributions, a visitation will be held on April 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY.  Family and friends will then proceed to Calverton National Cemetery, where Patricia will be laid to rest. 

Patricia Anne Raja's legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her commitment to service, and the profound impact she made on the lives she touched.
