Paul Agueci, a beloved member of the Middle Island community and a dedicated mechanic for the New York State Parks Department, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023, at The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 26, 1944.
Paul was known for his hard work, loving nature, and great sense of humor. His friendly personality brightened the lives of all those around him. Whether it was repairing vehicles or spending time with his family, Paul put his heart and soul into everything he did.
In addition to his successful career as a mechanic, Paul cherished spending time with his family. He found joy in the simple moments spent together, creating lasting memories that will forever be held close by those who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
Survived by his son Paul (Grace Ann) Agueci, daughter Nicole (Richard) Otto, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, Paul leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will never be forgotten. He was not only an exceptional family man but also a friend to many who admired and respected him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during visitation services which will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island located at 640 Middle Country Road in Middle Island on September 14, 2023. The visitation times are from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The following day on September 15th at 11:00 AM, a commital service will take place at Washington Memorial Park followed by final goodbyes.
Although Paul may no longer be with us physically, his memory will live on in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace, knowing that his love and kindness have touched the lives of so many.
