Phyllis Emanuelo

PHYLLIS EMANUELO of Wheatley Heights, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the age of 89. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 66 years and love of her life, Alfred. She is the cherished mother of sons, Michael (Kathy) and Victor and daughter, Grace. Loving grandmother of Megan (Justin), John (Ellen) and Matthew. One of her greatest joys was recently becoming a great grandmother to Daniella and Patrick.
Daughter of Victor and Marie Romita, treasured sister to John, Rosemarie, Dolores, and Dominic and “Aunt Phyllis” to even more family and friends. Phyllis’ greatest love was her family, and she will be remembered for her warmth and commitment to them.
The family also wishes to thank the nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital for their compassionate care in recent weeks.
Join us in celebrating the life and memory of Phyllis on Friday, July 23 from 4-8PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park NY. A brief prayer service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 9:30AM at Mangano Family Funeral Home. Burial to follow at 11AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Pinelawn NY.
