Born on July 11, 1956, in Amityville, NY to his parents Lorenzo and Assunta. Raymond's journey through life was filled with both challenges and triumphs, shaping him into the remarkable man that so many adored.

His pride and joy were his family—Philip and his wife Emily Belcastro, Robert Fussichen, and his stepdaughter Layla, who is married to Steven Mayer. Together, they filled his life with laughter and warmth. Raymond also reveled in the joys of being a grandfather to three precious grandchildren, whose bright smiles brought light to his days. He was a dedicated father, always there to lend an ear, a helping hand, or to share in life's simple pleasures.

Raymond shared a beautiful and loving relationship with his significant other, Dawn Schreier, someone who deeply understood and appreciated the depth of his character. Together, they created moments that would be treasured forever.

A visitation to honor Raymond will be held on January 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate the life of this extraordinary man—sharing stories, embracing one another, and finding solace in the community he built around him.
