Raymond Long, a respected project manager for Kean Development in Cold Spring Harbor, NY, passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 69. Raymond was born on June 8, 1954, in Canada to his loving parents, Reno and Jacqueline Long.
Raymond graduated from high school and embarked on a successful career as a project manager. He worked diligently at Kean Development, where he showcased his remarkable skills in overseeing various construction projects. Raymond's attention to detail and ability to effectively manage teams contributed greatly to the success of the company.
Beyond his impressive professional achievements, Raymond was beloved by his family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories for his wife Beth Ann, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Raymond was an adoring father to Brianna Capriola and her partner Tracy Greene, and Shanna Long(Rob Prokopiak). His love extended to his grandchild Teagan Capriola as well, although he was known as being a "pop to many." In addition to his immediate family, Raymond is survived by two loving sisters Rita Plourd and Rinette Napolitano, sister and brother in laws Paulina & Matthew Walker, David and Alice Walker and Laurie & Roger Phillips. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901 for visitation on December 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer service honoring Raymond's life will take place at the same location on the same day, starting at 6:00 PM.
Raymond Long will be remembered as an exceptional individual who left an indelible mark on all those who knew him. His dedication, integrity, and kindness were qualities that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Raymond's legacy will live on through the memories shared by his loved ones.
