Robert Marino, known to many as "Bobby Marino," passed away on April 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and care. Born on July 21, 1953, in New York, NY, Robert dedicated his career to serving in human resources for the Air National Guard in West Hampton Beach, NY and also working for Verizon. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his professional life.
Described as a great guy with a funny and goofy nature, Robert was someone who loved to dance and was known for never losing his temper. He was deeply involved in the community as a member of the Deer Park School District Board for over 18 years, where his impact and dedication were truly valued by all.
As a veteran, Robert served with honor and pride. His selfless nature and willingness to assist anyone in need endeared him to those around him. His warm personality and caring demeanor left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Anna Marino (Nee: Rannazzisi), his son Robert (and his wife Ophelia) Marino, daughters Angela Bailey (and her husband Douglas), Jaclyn Limoncelli (and her husband Richard), Anna Dinardo (and her husband RJ), Jennifer Chau (and her husband Alvin), five grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Services to honor and celebrate Robert's life will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 25th from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 26th at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church starting at 10:15 AM.
