Rosemarie Romano

RoseMarie Romano, (nee DelPriore), age 87 of Deer Park passed on January 10, 2018. Loving wife of the late James King Romano, former New York City Police Officer and Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher. Beloved mother of Diane (James) Anson of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, Stephen Romano & Pat Capozzi of Boston, MA, Richard (Jeanne) Romano of Medford, NY, Dan (Mary) Romano of Framingham, MA, and Bernadette (Vito) Russo of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Cherished grandmother of James, Thomas, Daniel, Katherine, Carolyn, Kathleen, Brian, Kelly, William, Samantha, and their spouses/fiances. Adored great grandmother of Caleigh, Leah, Riley, Jenna, and Molly. Dear sister of Nancy Ward, Sonny DelPriore, Michael DelPriore, and the late Johnny DelPriore, the late Joe DelPriore, and the late Vincenza Burchala.
RoseMarie was a longtime employee of Macy's. She loved baseball, music, flowers, shrimp scampi, dogs, movies, Foxwoods (NOT the penny machines), mint chocolate chip ice cream, babies, dancing, horse racing, any TV show with NCIS or CSI in the title, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and most of all her family and her memories of life with her husband.
