Ruth Emma Bolz

Ruth Emma Bolz, beloved wife of Francis A. Bolz Jr., passed peacefully May 15th, 2021 at age 90 with her dear husband at her side. They were married for 69 years. Predeceased by her parents Adolph Dude and Anna (Von Aspern) Dude, and her brothers Barthold (“Bob”) and Carl Dude. Survived by her sister Jorie Fetty. Mother to Susan Fitzgerald, Francis A. Bolz III and his wife Joyce Bolz. Beloved Grandma and Nana to Dennis Fitzgerald, Christine Fitzgerald, Christopher Bolz and Jessica Bolz. Great-grandma to Reese Fitzgerald.

Ruth was an Independent Antiques Dealer for over 40 years, traveling throughout the northeast. Ruth sold to many satisfied clients via mail order and on EBay in its infancy. Devoted wife of a NYPD Hostage Negotiator, she supported him and hid her fears he might not come home safely each time he answered the call.



Visitation at Mangano Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Av., Deer Park, NY. The family invites you to pay your respects Wednesday May 19th from 7pm-9:30pm, and Thursday May 20th from 2pm-4:30 pm & 7pm-9:30pm.
