Saverio J. Stallone

Saverio J. Stallone, a dedicated family man who spent his career as an Aviation Engineer for Northrup-Grumman has passed away on May 12, 2024 in Bay Shore, NY. Born on March 25, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the beloved child of Michael J. and Rose Stallone.

Saverio's commitment to his country led him to serve in the Army during the Korean War. His dedication as an Aviation Engineer was a testament to his passion for innovation and precision.

He is survived by his loving children: Michael W. (Eileen) Stallone, Rosemary Stallone, John S. (Lois) Stallone, Sharon (Bob) Haneman, and Kenneth A. Stallone. Saverio also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory forever.  He is predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret, of 53 years.

A visitation to honor Saverio's life will be held on May 14, 2024, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. The visitation will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, beginning at 10:15AM.  Following the funeral mass, a burial ceremony will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, where Saverio will be laid to rest. 

Throughout his life and career, Saverio touched the hearts of many with his kindness and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
