Susan P. Frick

Susan P. Frick, a dedicated registered nurse at Pilgrim State Psychiatric Hospital, passed away on November 9, 2023, in Riverhead, NY. She was born on April 25, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY. Susan leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

After earning her Bachelor's degree in nursing, Susan embarked on a fulfilling career in healthcare. Her years at Pilgrim State Psychiatric Hospital were marked by unwavering dedication to improving the lives of patients under her care. Her kindness and empathy were not only appreciated by her colleagues but also by the countless individuals she touched through her work.

Susan's memory will live on through her family that she leaves behind. She is survived by her Fiancé of 15 years, Leighton Wigley, her children; Paulette (Dave) Felician (daughter), Jennifer (Brian) Reynolds (daughter), Paul Frick (son), and Brian (Dawn) Frick (son). Susan was a source of light and inspiration to her nine grandchildren, who were her pride and joy; David (Kaleigh) Felician, Kyle (Myah) Frick, Dillon Reynolds, Courtney Reynolds, Travis Frick, Kelly Frick, Hailey Frick, Connor Frick and Layla Frick. Dearest sister of Debbie Pettersen and Marion (Joe) Scarpinato.

To honor the life of Susan, family and friends will gather for visitation services at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home located at 406 E Main St in Riverhead, NY. The first visitation service will take place on November 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A second visitation service will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM that same evening. The following day, November 12, there will be two additional visitation services held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

A Mass celebrating Susan's life will be held on November 13, 2023, at Saint Isidore's Roman Catholic Church, located at 622 Pulaski Street in Riverhead, starting at 9:30 AM. The loving bond between Susan and her family will forever be treasured by those whom she leaves behind.

The legacy of Susan P. Frick will continue to inspire generations to come. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to a charity close to your heart. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
