Teri Ann D'Ortona Meloni

Teri Ann D'Ortona Meloni, born on July 10, 1962, in West Islip, NY, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. Teri led a life marked by kindness and care, devoted to her family and friends. As a legal assistant, she exemplified dedication and professionalism in her career, making a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Teri was cherished and deeply loved by her family, especially her daughters, Tiana and Marisa. Tiana is married to Yandry Perozo, and Marisa is married to Frank Barrios, forming a close-knit family that brought joy to Teri's life. She held a special bond with sisters, Toni St. Angelo and Debbie, who is married to Charles Curcuru. The love within her family extended to her granddaughter, Alina Desiree, who was a source of great pride and happiness for Teri. Teri is also survived by her husband Mark Meloni, and her step-daughters; Jenna Laura married to Joseph Laura, their children Ella & Giada, and Brittany Sawyer married to Kristy Sawyer, and their children Shay & Benny. 

Though she has departed from this world, Teri's legacy of compassion will continue in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Phillip, who holds a special place in the family’s remembrance.

Visitation to honor Teri will be held on November 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. Additional visitation will take place on November 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in her memory will be celebrated on November 16, 2024, at Saint Matthew, located at 35 North Service Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746, starting at 11:45 AM.

Teri Ann D'Ortona Meloni will be remembered not only for her professional life but also for the warmth and love she brought to every relationship. Her spirit and the impact she made in her community will not be forgotten.
