Theodore E. Scheriff, a loving husband, dedicated automotive service manager, and cherished member of his community, passed away on January 22, 2024. Born on August 14th, 1955 in Queens, New York to his parents Edward and Myrna Scheriff. Theodore brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around him. His steadfast commitment to his family, passion for his career, and kind-hearted nature made him a beloved presence in the hearts of all who knew him.
Having earned his high school diploma, Theodore embarked on a rewarding career as an automotive service manager at Ramp Chevrolet. With his extensive knowledge and dedication to providing excellent customer service, he became an invaluable asset to the company.
While Theodore found great fulfillment in his professional life, it was his adoration for his family that truly defined him. His wife Lisa Scheriff held a special place in Theodore's heart. Together they created a lifetime of cherished memories filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Their bond was unbreakable and provided the foundation for countless moments of happiness. Theodore's brother Ralph Scheriff also shared an unbreakable connection with him. Through thick and thin, they stood united as pillars of strength for one another.
To honor Theodore's memory and celebrate the rich life he led, services will be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park, New York. The visitation will take place on January 29th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Theodore will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park located at 2030 Wellwood Ave in Farmingdale, New York. The burial ceremony will be held on January 30, 2024 and will begin at 11:00 AM. Family and friends who wish to attend the burial are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM.
Theodore E. Scheriff's legacy will forever remain imprinted in the hearts of his surviving family and friends. His warm smile, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will continue to inspire us all. Though our grief may be heavy, we find solace in the joyful memories we shared with him throughout his life.
As we bid farewell to Theodore E. Scheriff, let us remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the beautiful impact he made on our lives. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing that he was truly loved and valued by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
