Thomas B. Pesa, passed away on January 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on April 30, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, Thomas was a loving family man who always put his loved ones first.
Thomas was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his career as an Teamster Union oil burner technician. Throughout his life, he worked diligently to provide for his family and ensure their well-being. His dedication to his profession earned him the respect and admiration of those who knew him.
Beyond his successful career, Thomas's true pride and joy was his family. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Donna Pesa, his daughters; Deonna Zakaria, Angela Pesa, Victoria Pulciani, and Rosanna Pesa, and his grandsons; James, Thomas, Anthony, George, Michael, Salvatore, and Vincent. They brought immense happiness into his life and were a constant source of inspiration for him. He loved spending time with them and was always there to support them in their endeavors. His unconditional love and guidance will forever be treasured by each one of them. In addition to being survived by his immediate family, Thomas is mourned by countless relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Family gatherings were important to Thomas, and he always made sure that everyone felt welcome and loved. He would often say with a smile on his face, "God Bless the cook," showing appreciation for the delicious meals prepared.
The beautiful life of Thomas B. Pesa will be honored through visitation events at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, New York. The first visitation will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The second visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and the third visitation will follow that same day from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
A Mass in remembrance of Thomas's life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park, New York. The Mass will begin at 10:15 AM. Those who wish to attend the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:15AM. Following the ceremony, Thomas will be laid to rest at Saint Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale, New York. The burial service will commence at 12:00 PM.
