Thomas M. Stephens, a dedicated press room foreman for the New York Post in New York, NY, bid farewell to this world on July 30, 2024. Born on August 19, 1935, in Queens, New York to his parents Thomas and Lena. Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thomas will always be remembered for his love of the great outdoors - hunting and fishing were not mere pastimes but cherished passions that brought him immense joy. His knack for fixing things and haggling at garage sales showcased his resourcefulness and determination. Not to forget his love for motorcycles that added an element of thrill to his life.

Described as a great friend who was always ready to lend a helping hand, Thomas touched countless lives with his generosity and warmth. His proudest accomplishment was being a proud member of the AMVETS, where he found camaraderie and purpose. When he didn't spend his time helping out, you could find him at the Moose Lodge in Mount Sinai, NY.

In the quiet moments when he wasn't busy with his hobbies or work, Thomas cherished time spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved children Linda Accurso (husband Daniel), Nancy Rao (husband Ernest), Thomas N. Stephens, along with 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Sharon Ludwig, who brought him companionship and joy in his later years.

The memory of Thomas M. Stephens will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering spirit, he has left behind a void that can never be filled.
