Victor L. Marrero

Victor L. Marrero, known affectionately as "Victor the Legend", passed away on July 15, 2024 leaving a legacy of love for his family, and a deep connection to his roots.

Born on May 2, 1961, in the Bronx New York to his parents Clemente and Eileen Marrero. Victor grew up to be a man of unwavering strength and dedication. He pursued a career as a meter technician at the Suffolk County Water Authority for an impressive 38 years, showcasing his commitment and work ethic in every task he undertook. Additionally, Victor held the esteemed position of head security at Jones Beach, a role that spoke to his sense of responsibility and leadership skills.

Victor's love for Elvis Presley and his motorcycle were well-known among those who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. These passions added color to his life and reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for living.

Throughout his life, Victor always prioritized his family above all else. Victor and his wife Michelle were just recently married on June 19, 2024. His wife, Michelle Marrero (Nee; Polidoro); children Jason, Ashley, and Matthew Marrero; Daughter in law Alyson Marrero, stepchildren Matthew McKechnie and Hailey McKechnie, Daughter in law Dommineque Mckechnie; along with five grandchildren; Mia, Amelia, Jack, Isabella, and Autumn, stood as a testament to the love he held in his heart. Victor is survived by his sister Lauren Naccarato, brothers Guy Marvullli and Robert Zierer, his cousin Eddie, Sister in law Jiyon Marvulli and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Tommy Marvulli and Brother in law Michael Naccarato.

Victor Marrero will be remembered for his strong-minded yet respectful nature, embodying an old-school personality that resonated with all who knew him. His dedication to both his work and family leaves an indelible mark on those whose lives he touched.

As per the family's request, no visitation will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 25 at World Outreach Church of God, 249 Washington Avenue, Patchogue, NY 11772 at 10:00 a.m.

In honoring Victor's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with love, hard work, and a deep-rooted connection to those he held dear. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
