Vilija Albrechtiene

Lithuania and Riverhead, New York mourn the loss of Vilija Abrechtiene, who passed away on July 25, 2024. Born on April 11, 1964, Vilija lived a life filled with love, kindness, and cherished moments shared with her family and friends. Vilija's journey of life began in Lithuania, where her story unfolded before coming to a peaceful close in Riverhead, New York. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering compassion. She will be dearly missed by her surviving family members: her loving husband Algimantas Albrechtas; her daughters Jovita Rugienius (Gintautas) and Gintore Lingiene (Linas); as well as her grandchildren Kajus, Evita, Nojus, Amelia, David, and Sofia. In their hearts, Vilija's memory will forever remain a beacon of light and inspiration.

To honor and celebrate the life of Vilija Albrechtiene, family and friends are invited to attend the visitation services at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home on July 31, 2024. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM followed by another session from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass will be held on August 1, 2024, at St. Isiore R.C Church starting at 12:00 PM.

Vilija's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was loved beyond measure.
