Vincenza F. Bono, a beloved matriarch on November 14, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on January 14, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, Vincenza was a bright light in the lives of many, embodying warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
She embraced life with a joyful heart, leaving a lasting impression on all those lucky enough to cross her path. Vincenza possessed a high school diploma but was a lifelong learner, always eager to share her wisdom and bestow the finest advice upon her loved ones.
Vincenza found true joy in nurturing her passions. Her green thumb transformed gardens filled with beauty and life. Not only did she tend to her plants with devotion, but she also nourished the hearts and appetites of her family and friends with her culinary talents. Known for her delicious baked goods and comforting meals, her kitchen was always a gathering place where laughter and love pulsed through the air.
The essence of Vincenza was marked by her fervent love for crafting and entertaining. Each gathering she hosted was a celebration filled with warmth, creativity, and the cherished company of those she held dear. She cherished her family deeply, and the bonds she fostered are a testament to her nurturing nature.
Vincenza is survived by her loving children, Denise and her husband Anthony DeLalla, Doreen and her husband Rob Arciello, John Bono, and Deborah Bono Grey. Her legacy continues with five grandchildren and two great-grandsons, who will forever carry her spirit and values in their hearts.
Visitation for Vincenza will be held on November 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY. A Mass in her honor will take place at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills on November 18, 2024, at 10:45 AM. An entombment will follow immediately after at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
