Walter F. Ehlers

Walter Francis Ehlers, son of Edward Ehlers and Mary Vaughan Ehlers born October 11, 1925. Walter was predeceased by cherished siblings Edward, Gertrude, and Dorothy and his beloved wife, Joyce. Walter is survived by daughter Mary Ellen Ehlers (Fred Venditti), son Robert Ehlers (Laurie), daughter Ardith Cork (Glenn). Walter (Pop-Pop) was the proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Walter, a proud WWII veteran and graduate of Fordham University, excelled for 40 years as a photo editor for United Press International in NYC. Walter, with a camera around his neck at every family event, took joy in spending time with family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell and Eddy Village Green #12 for their kind and compassionate care.

After the burial service, the Ehlers family would like to invite family and friends to join them for lunch at The Black Forest Brew Haus,
