Despite not having completed a formal degree program, Walter's knowledge and skills in construction were unparalleled. His practical experience and commitment to excellence set him apart in his field.
Family meant everything to Walter, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Spaeth. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Wendy Morrin (Tim) and Meghan Quinn. Although preceded in death by his son Peter G. (Donna), Walter's memory will live on through his granddaughter Veronica Spaeth and grandson Jonah Spaeth (Danielle).
A Visitation to honor Walter's life will be held on June 12, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead, NY. A Mass will take place on June 13, 2024, at Saint John the Evangelist in Riverhead at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Saint John the Evangelist Cemetery in Riverhead at 11:00 AM.
