William C. Worthington

William C. Worthington of Mastic Beach, formerly of Riverhead, died June 29, 2018. He was 63 years old.

He was born December 18, 1954 in Riverhead to Oscar and Hazel (Hutton) Worthington.

He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He worked at Calverton National Cemetery. He married Karen Hathan on February 14, 2007.

Predeceased by his parents and Catherine “Tootie” Hazel, he is survived by his wife Karen, his son Frank (Rachel) Testa, his stepson Derek (Beatrice) Hofmann and his siblings Oscar, George, Nora and Alberta.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place Saturday, July 7 at 9 a.m. at Calverton National Cemetery.
