Willie Edward Pressey, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on March 5, 1947, in Blackville, South Carolina, and his journey through life was marked by warmth, kindness, and a steadfast spirit that touched all who knew him.

Willie leaves behind his cherished wife, Sarah Pressey, nee Robinson, with whom he shared countless memories and a deep bond of love. Their union was a testament to companionship, built on mutual respect and understanding, creating a nurturing home filled with laughter and joy.

Willie's legacy continues through his three daughters, Twanna Pressey-Ramsay—who carries the memory of her late husband, Wade—Lerease (Wayne) Jackson, and Threasa (Gerald) Willis. Each of his daughters found strength in their father's guidance and love, growing into remarkable women who reflect his values and spirit in their lives. Willie's pride in his family was evident, and he delighted in the joy of being a grandfather to three grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

A community figure, Willie was known for his sincerity and unwavering support. Family and friends are invited to honor Willie's memory during the following services at the 1st Baptist Church of Deer Park, located at 191 Washington Ave, Deer Park, NY:

A viewing will take place on April 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This will provide a moment for loved ones to reflect and share their fondest memories of Willie.

On April 26, 2025, visitation will be held at the same location beginning at 10:00 AM, leading into the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Together, family and friends will celebrate Willie’s life, cherishing the moments they shared and the impact he made.

Following the funeral service, Willie will be laid to rest during a burial ceremony at Pinelawn Memorial Park, located at 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Pinelawn, NY, at 1:00 PM.
